On the last survey, Davide spotted a leaping dolphin 1.5 kilometers away from us and in approximately 10 minutes we reached it. I had no expectations of how big that group was; surely, I did not expect to see as many dolphins as we did.
Seeing one hundred dolphins is something that seems possible only in a dream, but now I can tell you it’s not true!
Being able to see so many striped dolphins all at once was remarkable. However, what made the experience even more surreal was the way they interacted with the boat. They were so friendly and just as interested in our activity as we were in theirs.
I even recorded an underwater video of bow-riding dolphins! I will never forget this day!!!
